Darrell Lee Woods passed away on September 25, 2023. Darrell was born at home in Goody, Kentucky on March 29, 1947. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Wilson Woods; parents, Harold and Martha (Johnson) Woods; sisters, Mary Williamson and Judy Hall; brother, Ralph Allen; brother-in-law, Bill May; his in-laws, Clyde and Mabel Wilson; sister-in-law, Myrtle (Wilson) Catron.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Rachel Woods; son, Eric Woods; sister, Bonnie May; brother, Tommy Woods and wife Janie Woods; sister-in-law, Paula (Wilson) Smith; and multiple nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life was held at River's Edge Bible Church's fellowship hall March 30, 2024, directly after the morning graveside service at Merchant's Hope Memorial Gardens.
