About	Barbara Jean Wilson Woods, 67, of Prince George County, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014. Born in Asheville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mable Wilson, and was also preceded in death by her sister, Myrtle Catron; a niece, Wendy Hazlett; her mother-in-law, Martha Jane Woods; and a sister-in-law, Mary Williamson. She was a 1965 graduate of Belfry High School, and was also a 1969 graduate of Moorehead State University, both in Kentucky. She was a retired social worker from the City of Petersburg as a supervisor of Adult Services. Earlier in life, she taught home economics in South Charleston, Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband, Darrell Woods; one son, Eric Woods; a granddaughter, Rachel Woods and her mother, Crystal Ethridge; one sister, Paula Smith; a brother, Leo Marcum and wife, Carol; two brothers-in-law, Tommy Woods and wife, Janie, and Ralph Allen and wife, Gisela; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie May and husband, Bill, and Judy Hall; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. All other services will be private.
