About Me | I love the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and friend. My interests are to place Jesus first in my life then everything else falls into place. There is nothing more precious than spending time with my family. My prayer is to be able to witness to those who do not know Jesus as their personal Savior. What an awesome feeling to know Jesus is on your side and will be there all the time. I love to watch my children interact with their children. I am so proud of all three of my sons: David Scott, Shawn Thomas, and Matthew Joseph Benjamin who are very doting fathers. I love my daughter in loves: Kim, Jenny, and Ashley b/c I could not have chosen any better wives for my sons or mothers for my grandchildren. Speaking of grandchildren. They are in age order: Jacob Logan (19- who is a Sophomore at Ball State 2012); Kaleb Scott (16) and a Junior at Greenwood High; Nicholas Peyton (14); Kalynn Rene (12); Brynn Elizabeth (5); Quinton Thomas (5 ); Gabriella (19 mo; and Grayson David almost 6 mo. I have a wonderful loving and compassionate husband, Randall. He loves the Lord as I do. He has two sons: Chad and Tom and one daughter: Brandy. He loves his childen very much. It was very difficult for a father to lose his entire family and his whole purpose for living. He is trying to build a relationship with them now ... but only God can mend a broken heart. Randall has been a great step-father to my sons and a super grandfather to my grandchildren. His grandchildren are listed in order: Brittany (18); Cody (17); Ali (17); Caitlyn (15); Carly Jean (19 mo). He is very close with his Mom and Dad and siblings. They were all he could depend on untill I came along 16 years later. I have been blessed. Isn't God an "awesome" God. I have three sisters: Sherry, Pam, and Dawn and two brothers: Dwight and Jeff. I lost a brother 18 mo younger than me when he was 9 mo. old. I am looking forward to seeing him in heaven. I know Grandma Rosie, Grandpa Alec and my Daddy are holding him every day. My Mom was born Evah Alene Burton (Ky) and my Daddy was born RB Watkins (Tx). What people will find out about me is that I am very honest and do not like to hide things. Our lives are open books. If you cannot open your life so others can see the dents and cracks of life, then you cannot be transparent and be the person God wants us to be nor a person that one can trust. We are all broken spirits and s/b so grateful to have Jesus who sacrificed His life so that we can be righteous and have a relationship with Him and our God Almighty. (Yaweh). As I have heard Joyce Meyers speak so many times: "We all have a hole in our hearts that "only" God can fill." My prayers each day to to have a pure heart to love all as Jesus loved. I can only do this with God's strength and not my own. May I give God Almight glory i...(read more) |
