Robert Dean Forster, formerly of Bedford, passed away March 8, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Red Oak, Iowa following a long illness. Bob was born April 11, 1945 and was raised in Bedford by the late Jim and Dell Forster.
Bob attended the Bedford Schools, and lived most of his life in Bedford before moving to Clarinda, where he resided for the past several years.
Bob worked at several jobs, including being a welder, working road construction, dynamiter at several rock quarries and a millwright. Bob was a free spirit and enjoyed being around people and riding motorcycles in his spare time. Bob will be missed by the many people he had met throughout his life.
There were no public services for Bob and his ashes were placed by his parents in the cemetery in Lineville, Iowa.
