Gloria Jean Buckhouse was born May 2, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska, and went to be with Our Lord, Jesus Christ on January 3, 2012 at her home in Lake George, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, an infant son, two grandchildren, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Surviving Gloria are her husband Dean, children: Angela King, Ron King (Rena), Jerry Ostrom (Becka), Shannon Ostrom, Kristi Mize (Billy), 19 grandchildren and 6 great-children; brothers, Wesley, Lonnie,
Roy, John, and Danny Joe and sister, Maryann.
Gloria’s favorite past times included fishing, sewing, cooking, travel and family time. Gloria moved to Colorado in 1986. She married her soul mate and love of her life in the spring of 1994. She cherished the life her and Dean built together in the mountains of Lake George. She enjoyed the time she spent with her church family at Lake George bible church.
Services will be held January 6, 2012 at 4 p.m. a Lake George bible church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the ladies bible study ministry at Lake George Bible Church.
