Harryette was in grade school with our class while her dad was the Taylor County Sheriff.

Harryette Ann Eden, 59, died on Thursday, July 21, 2005, at her residence in Woodbridge where she had been a resident since 1980. She had been a teacher at Potomac High School and Forest Park High School. She taught English, Speech and Drama. Preceded in death by her mother, Harryette is survived by her husband, James L. Eden; two children, Jeffrey Scott Eden, and Lee Jameson Eden; her father, Harry Lucas; and her brother, Melvin Lucas. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City. Graveside services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park St., SE, P.O.Box 699, Vienna, VA 22180-0699. (Obituary, Potomac News, July 26, 2005).
Harryette was born June 17, 1946 in Clarinda, IA. She graduated from Cedar Fall High School in 1964. February 1968, she married James Lee Eden in Florida. Harryette died July 21, 2005 in Woolbridge, Prince William County, VA.
She is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, VA.
