Barbara passed away after battling lymphoma. She had lived in Georgetown, MA since 1978 and prior to that resided in Arlington, VA, Acton and Nova Scotia. She is survived by her husband, Joel, and daughter Heather.
She received a bachelor's and master's degree from Boston University. She was formaly employed as a guidance councelor at Bedford, Reading, and Acton-Boxborough High Schools and was currently employed as an Assistant Director of Talent Search Grants through North ShoreCommunity College, Lynn, MA.
Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.
