About Me	LIFE IS GOOD THESE DAZ CLEAN & SOBER SINCE 10/16/95 NICOTINE FREE @ 12/24/93 I am learning to hear all over again - on 5/14/08 I was legally DEAF - hearing aids didn't work anymore - then i got my 1st cochlear (5/15/08) implant & life was worth living again. Got my 2nd one 5 months later on 10/9/08 & life is getting better by the day . I was told it could take up to 7 years to get the full potential out of them - with all the adjustments & all . I can thank my wonderful Wife for standing by me through all of the crap I went through & put her through - her patience helped me when mine was ready to run out .
