About	Chris was proud of his time at Beaverton High. Chris was involved with Boy Scouts here in Reno, NV.He was an Eagle Scout, Was awarded the Silver Buffalo for adult leadership excellence, the George Meanie Award for union sponsoring and support of Scouting. He was a unit commissioner, a scoutmaster with two different troops that he helped start, a cub master at several cub scout groups, a camp counciler for several years, and a source of free uniforms and assistance to needy prospective scouts. He was involved with union labor in the Northern Nevada area. he was an avid rock collector, visiting many ghost towns in the process. He was 62 years young. He had heart failure.
