| About Me | Have been married 3 times (first 2 deceased). Current hubby and I will celebrate 10 years in April 2018. Have lived in OH, FL (Largo, Miami, Pembroke Pines, Tallahassee), GA (Thomasville) and SC. Now I say I am Buckeye by birth and southern by the grace of God. I started my professional life teaching early childhood (kindergarten, degree from Wright State). Later, I studied computer science at Clark Tech. I worked for Hobart Brothers until I landed a job at a defense contractor in FL...until world peace broke out in the late 70s. From there, software for Carnival Cruise Lines then finished my computer career at Flowers Foods (country's largest bakery). Now, I am a Missions volunteer for the US Embassy, running a pre-K reading readiness program and teaching home veggie gardening in Palau, Caroline Islands... where I clicked off a Bucket List item... I have seen the southern cross!!! I love SCUBA diving and photography (placed 4th in an international underwater photography contest... yeah, me!). Hubby and I camp, hike and ride our motorcycles (I ride my own) in 'our' mountains. Grandson, Nicholas, keeps me young. Oh, and Genealogy. I love digging up dead ancestors!
