I remember that it was really rare for me to be home sick on a school day, but I was one day and it probably saved my life, or at least horrible scarring. My seat was where the window blasted in when a pilot abandoned his plane and it crashed just outside my class. I shutter at how close I came. I was a sophomore and was taking a freshman speech class. Being out of place, I sat alone in the back of the class, exactly where the window blew in.
