| About | Joan Nunke taught at Bayside HS for several years and was involved as the Faculty Advisors to the girls Leaders Club along with other activities. Joan retired and moved to Toms River NJ where she was close to her family. Joan was a "favorite" teacher for many of us who had the good fortune to have known her. Joan went on to Layfayette HS in Brooklyn and then transferred to Cardozo HS in Queens. Joan enjoyed her various experiences within the NYC Board of Education and will be missed by those of us who knew her over the years. |
