About Me	I was drafted into the army during the Koren war but saw no action. I was sent to Germany instead and was trained in radio theory and repair while in service. promoted to Sargent and was the leader of the Battalion radio section, 10th infantry division. After discharge I worked in guidance systems and other electronics stuff and in 1962 took a job with RCA as a radar tech in Thule, Greenland on the Ballistic Missile early Warning system. I spent two years there and then went to Alaska to the radar site there for six months. In 1953 I married a girl from Greendale and we had three boys together. When I returned from Alaska we moved to Ohio and I worked as a computer tech for RCA. When they went out of the computer business I came back to Milwaukee, wife and I divorced (after 25 years) In Milwaukee I sang in milwaukees Bel Canto choir, belonged to Toastmasters Int. did well as a speaker, and met my second wife, Barbara, a girl from South Div High School. In 1986 we moved to Arizona and I joined the National Speakers assoc. I did some motivational speaking and and eventually took an interest in Storytelling and as the charactor "Gusty" McCabe I have performed throughout the State. I have appeared at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, at Orem Utah at the storytellin' festivale there, and at the Arizona Folklore Preserve with Dolan Ellis (One of the founders of the New Christy Minstrels and Arizona's state balladeer). .We also engaged in some conservative politicle activity here.
