About Me	I graduated from the Indiana University school of music in 1979 with a Bachelor's degree in music performance in trumpet. I then won an audition with the Fort Wayne (Ind.) Philharmonic where I played for 1 1/2 years. I moved to Turin, Italy in 1981 where I played principal trumpet in the Italian National Radio Orchestra for 2 1/2 years. In 1984 I won an audition for principal trumpet in the Zürich Opera Orchestra, (now the Philharmonie Zürich) and moved to Switzerland where I've lived for the past 36 years. After playing principal trumpet in the orchestra for 33 years I moved to assistant principal trumpet in 2017. I retired in 2020 after a total of 40 years as a professional trumpet player. I'm married to a wonderful woman, Veronica, who hails from Manchester, England. She is an incredibly talented musician who plays the piano and organ.
