About	A funeral Mass for William Victor “Vic” Collins Jr., 45, was held at 11 a. m. Monday, Dec. 19, 1994, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with the Msgr. James Brunner officiating. Burial was in Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. A rosary was said at 6 p. m. Sunday, Dec. 18, 1994, in the Taylor Bros. Funeral Home chapel. Mr. Collins was born July 29, 1949, in Houston, to William Victor and Kathryn Cobb Collins and died Friday, Dec. 16, 1994, in Bay City. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, an active supporter of the Raiser Backer, FFA, 4-H and the Matagorda County Fair Association. Survivors include his wife, Leta Collins of Bay City, his mother, Kitty Collins of Bay City; a daughter, Christina Collins of Killeen; a son, William Victor Collins III of Bay City; two sisters, Mrs. Corinne Collins Heiligbrodt and Mrs. Clair Collins Wilkins, both of Houston. Pallbearers were Randy Sullivan, Richard Bustos, Nat Bustos, David Siptak, Frank Carr, Gene Klepac, Paul Roe and Jimmy Brangan. Honorary pallbearers were Gene Farrer, Pete Ashworth, Gerald Bodenburg, Tommy Hale and Gerald Coale. Arrangements are with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home of Bay City.
