About Me	Yip. I'm a Leo. Can't you tell by the photo? Leos are the Lions of the Zodiac: "Generous and warmhearted Creative and enthusiastic Broad-minded and expansive Faithful and loving. (Shhh...we are also a bit grandiose. I am a public speaking coach, speaker, author and actor. I earned an M.A. in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Kansas and did post-graduate studies in Theatre Arts at the University of Missouri. My master's thesis, a biography of Paul W. White who founded CBS News, was reviewed in Broadcasting Magazine and quoted in several books on broadcasting history. I have been speaking in public since I was 15 when I emceed variety shows in high school and as a minister before deciding on a career as a broadcast journalist. My work was featured on National Public Radio's All Things Considered, the Voice of America, ABC Radio, the Mutual Broadcasting Network and CNN. I studied at the Actors Studio in Los Angeles and have been featured in motion pictures, television commercials and recordings. I taught public speaking, radio and television performance for eight years at John Brown University, Siloam Springs, AR. Mental illness devastated my family of origin and marriage. A graduate of the complete Bipolar Advantage series of workshops, I have had first hand experience of what it is like to make profound changes and a gift for helping others who share the struggle for a better life.
