About Me | I would like to think of myself as a simple nice, caring guy that has a tendency for it to bite me in the ass. I have an admiration and respect for honor, integrity, loyalty, courage and commitment. Unfortunately, there are days I wonder if people still remember what valor and virtue mean. I say Sir and Ma’am, I believe in hand shakes and looking someone in the eye. I believe in holding doors open for people and opening car doors for ladies, giving help to those when needed and listening to the wisdom of people that have seen and experienced more than me. I believe that a man’s honor has no compromise and that one should always stand up for what they believe is true, right or wrong and without regret. I believe there is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences and learn from them. Without a doubt the shortest distance between two people is a smile. A man’s kiss is his signature; it can be a comma, a question mark or even an exclamation point. Thus there is only one way to kiss a woman and that is with complete passion; consequently one should always follow up with a hug. I have concluded that love is the only thing that is worth both living and dying for. I will admit that I have struggled at times wondering if love even exist, but I would rather have known the smell of her hair, the taste of her kiss and the feel of her touch than an eternity without it. Leon Battista Albert could not have said it better, “A woman’s beauty is the summations of all parts proportionally so that one cannot add, subtract or alter without impairing the harmony of the whole.” I am not the here today gone tomorrow type of guy and love all my friends and would do anything for them, and I am the type that when things go wrong and you really need someone I am the first one there. I will confess I am a little shy when I first meet someone, although I love to meet new people and warm up quickly. I have a sarcastic since of humor and that this sometimes comes across in the wrong way when people are just getting to know me. But, I assure you that you will eventually find me funny. I have learned that everything eventually has its place so I try to learn something new everyday no matter how small or insignificant it may seem at that moment in time. This has allowed me to accumulate a vast knowledge base of information I really hope to use someday. I love to travel to see new places and experience new things. I am always up for a challenge or adventure and will try anything once but, I also still take pleasure in the simple things like curling up on a couch every once in awhile and watch a good movie with good company. I love a good laugh, a good time and good conversation in general; whether it is grabbing a drink at a bar or just dinner with good friends. I live life in the hopes, at the end of the long road of...(read more) |
