| About | Peter Dennison Flippin Peter Dennison Flippin, 30, of Orange City, Fla., died Thursday in a Florida Hospital. He was born Sept. 30, 1968, in Bremerton, Wash. A former Las Vegas resident from 1969-1990, he was a warehouse manager for a distributing company. He is survived by his fiancee, Shelly Palen of Orange City; his father, Stephen Flippin, his mother, Marjorie Smith, and one sister, Alison Pitts, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, Stephen Flippin of Peoria, Ill., Jonathon Pitts of Las Vegas and JJ Smith of Henderson; two nieces and two nephews. Pete was a catcher and key member of the 1987 Basic HS baseball team that won the Nevada State Championship. |
