Served in the US Submarine Service for 10 years. Stationed on the USS James Monroe SSBN 622 (5 Patrols) from Danoon, Scotland, and USS John C Calhoun SSBN 630 (1 Patrol) ported out of Kings Bay, GA. Picked up by ECP (Enlisted Commissioning Program), returned to University of Memphis for three years of NROTC.
