About Me	A lot of different things, I did a short stint in the Navy. Then I met my soul mate and best friend, Jim while working at 7-11. After living together for 10 yrs. we finally took the plunge and got married in 1997. This yr. (2012) we've been married 15 yrs. & together for 25 yrs. I held several different jobs after getting out of the Navy including driving a school bus for private schools in the Hampton Roads area and also taking groups of people both children and adults who would charter a bus to go to Busch Gardens, Kings Dominion and different attractions in the Washington D.C. area. I really enjoyed that, but there are no benefits with that type of job so I decided to try to get a job with the State of Virginia at one of the 4 local underwater tunnels in the area. I've been working for VDOT for 19 yrs. and started at the bottom and have worked my way up to one of the top positions as a Supervisor who is responsible for whatever happens during the 8 hour shift I work. It's a challenging job because you never know what's going to happen, no 2 accidents are the same because of the people involved. My job is basically emergency response.
