About Me	After graduating from Bandy's High School, I served 4 years in the U.S Navy. I got married to Joy Y. Cook in June, 1989. Our first daughter was born, two weeks before I left for the Persian Gulf War. I left the Navy, after I got back from the war. I went back to working at the Country Market, as a Store Manager, and went to CVCC at night. I received my Associated Degree in Business in 1997, and our second daughter was born. The next year, our son was born. I left the Store in 1990 and went to work for Alcatel, now called Draka Comteq, as a Systems & Operations Team Leader. I went back to school at night and finished my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, from Gardner-Webb University in 2005. I left Draka in November of 2006, and started to work at KVS, a division of Greenheck Fan Corporation, in Kings Mountain on May 2007, as a Production Scheduler & CNC Laser Programmer. My wife (Joy) went back to school and graduated with High Honors from CVCC with an Associate Degree in Health Information Technology. She got a job with Catawba Valley Medical Center, 30 days after she graduated in 2003, as a RHIT Clinical Coder, where she worked for 5 years, until February 2009, when she had a massive stroke. She has since recovered mostly from the stroke, but is now disabled and was not able to return to work. She is doing OK, but not able to do all the things she would like to be able to do (like return to work). She is able to take care of her...(read more)
