Favorite School Memory	Who remembers the snow days we enjoyed back in (Jan?) 1972 and (Feb?) 1973. I remember snow skiing on water skis down Harborview drive behind Ronnie Ginzberg's mom's station wagon. Larry Charpentier, among several other buddies, participated. In fact it may have been Larry's mom's station wagon. That still seems like yesterday to me... I remember working with friends pulling all-nighters building the 1973 and the 1976 Homecoming floats. We did lots of water skiing on Offats Bayou during those high school years...practically lived at the GBC on Offats Bayou! I have great memories working with a painting crew to paint the Pelican Island bridge the summers of 1973 & 1974. We would yell at fishermen to "throw us cold beers!" Very refreshing! I remember drag racing my dad's 1968 Pontiac Lemans (a sleeper GTO) out at Cherry Hill many many Saturday nights...Nick Rakk was a tough competitor driving his 1969 Mach-1 Mustang. I remember Ronnie Loomis drove a candy apple red 1970 Chevelle SS 396 w/black stripes, and Jerry Praker drove a wicked Black 1964 Chevy Nova 427 SS. Many great memories.
