About (no additional information)
Events Beloved mother of Kristen L. Born (Gentry) and Jeff (Destinie) Drentkiewicz; proud grandmother of Donald Tyler (Natalie), Kaelly (Justin), Madison, Tori and Dustin (Gracie); cherished sister of Cheryl (Bob) Warzinski. Will be dearly missed by John Drentkiewicz and family, nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers, friends and her beloved cat Luna.

Beverly grew up in Baldwin Borough and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1970. She went on to attend and graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Beverly then began her career as a teacher for Brentwood School District. She coached various sports such as swimming, track and field, and volleyball. Bev, or “Mrs. Drent,” was a well- loved and admired teacher. Later in her career, she made time to get her master’s degree in Exercise Science. She was an avid and talented artist, who worked in multiple mediums.

Bev was a life-force and seemingly had a never-ending tank of energy for gardening and house projects. She had a knack for interior decorating and often changed the color of her walls. She loved having big family dinners, where she had multiple crockpots cooking, all burners on the stove in use, and the oven jam packed. Then everyone would go home with enough food for the week, you weren’t allowed to leave without multiple to go containers.
Bev had an incredible sense of humor and was not afraid to be silly, especially with her grandchildren. She was everything you could ever hope to have in a mother. Her grandchildren were her entire world. She lovingly spent time with them, guiding them through life, encouraging them to be good people, teaching them to swim, paint, and craft.

Beverly was selfless, humble, and kind. She had a generous spirit and would help anyone she could, whenever she could. She will be missed beyond measure by all who loved her.
