Age 64, of South Park, formerly of Baldwin, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Wife of the late David Hixenbaugh; beloved mother of Emily (Steven) Nolte and David J. Hixenbaugh; loving daughter of Mary E. and the late Edward Flatley; sister of Edward Flatley, Gail (Tom) Saunders, Mark (Sonia) Flatley and Sean Flatley; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Susan had retired in 2008 after 35 years from Verizon. Visitation will be held Saturday 4-7 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park.
