| About Me | I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best medicine. I believe in true Love. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles. I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person to me. I was married in 1982 to an amazing person, Gene Smith, and we have been married 30+ years. We have two children: Patrick - at Ole Miss & almost a sophomore and Katelyn (Katie) - Ole Miss freshman. As you might imagine, almost all of our time had revolved around the children's extra-curricular activities! It will be very different having an empty nest! We are avid UGA Bulldawg fans... winning or losing, we are bulldawgs! I still miss teaching, but unfortunately, my Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndromes forced me to make a choice, and I chose to stay at home where I could be more rested when I'm with my family...but I do miss the identity of being a teacher - especially those "light bulb" m...(read more) |
