About Me	After returning from Viet Nam in 1966, Ruth( Dix hills, 1st wife) and I were stationed at Ft. Bliss(El Paso, TX) until 1967. Then moved to Las Cruces, NM to start college at New Mexico State U. Graduated 1971 as a Civil Engineer . Went to work for the Corps of Engineers Ft Worth, TX. Then to Albuquerque, NM 1974, then to Savannah, GA 1978, back to Albuquerque until 1984. Changed jobs to work on engineering and constructing facilities defense generated nuclear waste ( Department of Energy). Back to school graduate degree in Industrial Engineer. Moved to Carlsbad, NM, 1986 and worked almost 10 yrs developing an 2200 ft underground waste facility, along with about 600 personnel, to store nuclear material. Divorced 1990. Retired 1995 to start a car service business. Sold business 2000 and became a contractor to the Air force developing housing projects. Remarried 2006. Have two children, both are in their 30's now with children of their own. Love the mountains of New Mexico and the layed back attitude of the people....(read more)
