Hi Everyone! I wanted to update you on the reunion details. It is going to be at Francis Farms in Rehoboth, MA on September 22nd, 2012 from 2pm to midnight.They have an online site:www.francisfarm.net We also blocked out rooms at the Quality Inn in Somerset, Ma., www.qualityinn/somerset. We are looking into a shuttle bus from the hotel to the venue. The Quality Inn is giving a discount, just let the receptionist (Meridith) know you are part of the group for the Durfee reunion. We are asking everyone to spread the word with the people you have remained in contact with. Mailing addresses and emails can be sent to my email address, dmerrill925@aol.com, or to Joe Stankiewicz, his email is jjandaa@cox.net, or Malcolm King at mal.malcollm@gmail.com. The cost is $55.00 per person which includes an early lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs, with a Hawiian Luau buffet at 6pm. There will be a cash bar. No alcohol can be brought onto the grounds. Checks can be mail to and addressed to: June Stankiewicz, 67 Tanglewood Drive, Tiverton, RI 02878-2565 before August 31, 2012. We have a hall and the outside grounds for the entire time. Casual dress is recommended as there will be softball ( bring own gloves and balls) volleyball(net and ball provided), horseshoes, basketball(basketballs provided) and we plan on having a "Tug-of-War" contest...Morton vs Henry Lord!! Come on Lord!!! (sorry Morton, but I am hoping Lord takes this one!!) I hope you all will be attending, as this will be a reunion you won't forget. We welcome suggestions and comments. As everyone knows bringing a large group together it is difficult to accommodate everyone's wishes, we as a group, felt this would be the best venue and choice of food.
