About	Lucia Fatima Pacheco, age 42 , born August 26, 1966 in Povoacao, Lomba do Alcaide, Island of St. Michael, Azores, passed away Tuesday evening, December 2, 2008 in O’Fallon, Illinois, surrounded by her loving family. Lucy’s family moved to Fall River in 1969. She graduated from BMC Durfee High School in 1984. She worked in the area as a nurse’s aid for several years, and had spent the last few years in Philadelphia before moving to O’Fallon, Illinois two years ago with her brother Paulo, to help open his restaurant, Paulo’s at the Mansion, where Lucy was the Executive Pastry Chef. Lucy was known for her hospitality at the restaurant. Her generous spirit was evident in her charitable acts; she had served the poor and homeless in area soup kitchens and was generous with her time and talents. She was an avid sports fan and an accomplished pastry chef. She was a parishioner at Santo Christo Catholic Church. Evryone who ever knew Lucy will be sadden by this. She will be missed.
