About	Girard LindaGIRARD, Linda Ann - (June 16, 1949 - May 18, 2017) - Born June 16, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of Leona and James Hawley. She met Marcel Girard while she was a professional dancer in Windsor, Ontario. They married in 1969 and moved to Burlington where they both lived and worked: he at his VACUUM SHOPPE and she as store manager for Eaton’s and then The Bay. After she retired, Linda traveled to be with her family and friends in Las Vegas, Sunny Isles, Florida and even Argentina whenever she could. She was always there to listen and lend a helping hand to all who knew her. Her bright smile, blue eyes and great sense of humour endeared her to all who met her. In recent years her strength, tenacity, and independence shocked and challenged her doctor, family, and friends. Linda never gave up in her battle. She will be missed dearly and has all our love forever. Linda is survived by her Sister, Elaine Celario, Brother in law, Daniel Celario, the light of her eyes Nephew and Godson, DJ Celario, Sister in law Pat Girard and Roni Riberdy, and cousins Bill and Diane McGrath. Interment plans to be determined.
