About Me	Entered Cornell 1942. Enlisted in the Air Corp1943. Earned Wings in Selma, MS 1944 as B 29 Navigator. Commissioned Second LT. Discharged Feb 1946. Went back to Cornell and graduated with a degree in Economics. Met wife Jean Pirnie at Cornell and was married 1951. Attended Syracuse Graduate School of Business in 1950. Hired by NY Telephone in New York City. Then worked for Arthur Young and Co Accountants. Purchased an insurance agency in Saratoga Springs in 1951. Raised 5 children, was active in the community. President of Lions Club, President of Board of Supervisors, President of Chamber of Commerce; Chaired American Red Cross, Chairman of Board of Supervisors, Chairman of Regional Planning; served on Governor's State Mass Transit Safety Board, played golf and tennis, hunted andshot skeet, bowled, carpentry, plumbing and lawn projects; traveled widely; lontime wife Jean died in 2011; retired from insurance after a 60 year car...(read more)
