| About Me | I worked very briefly for United Airlines in SFO, walked into a hangar one night and all the personnel stopped what they were doing and said Helloooo Penny...so they wrote me up (it's true). I left aviation for a while after that. Eventually I ended up working for a company on Long Island that produces computerized aircraft maintenance programs for corporate aircraft and helicopters. I worked there for over 13 years. I worked briefly for Spirit Airlines, then Jet Blue, and after deciding that commercial aviation really was not where I wanted to be, I ended up in New Jersey working at Teterboro for Atlantic Aviation as their technical writer, overseeing the maintenance programs and MEL manuals for a fleet of about 20 corporate aircraft operating part 135 and part 91. After that I was back on Long Island at Republic Airport working for a 145 repair station, and right now I am in Savannah, GA working for Gulfstream Aerospace as a documentation analyst.
