| Events | FDNY Rescue Company 1 Lieutenant Dennis Mojica, on Sept.11, 2001 leading a rescue effort, died in Stairway B when the World Trade Center’s North Tower collapsed. Even though Dennis rose to a position of command he insisted on going inside with his men. Lt. Dennis Mojica an Aviation High School Graduate, served Honorably in the U.S. Naval Air reserve, and former member of the Naval Air Station Floyd Bennett Field’s Color guard (along with 1969 AHS grads Frank Tortorici, Dom Gallo, and John Sunara). |
