The cost is $100 per person which includes a full buffer, beer, wine, soda, and margaritas. It will also include a DJ.
We are asking for a 50% deposit now ($50 per person) so we may hold the venue. The final 50% is due no later than July 14. The payments should be sent to the AHS PayPal account which is ahs1984reunion@hvc.rr.com

Hello my fellow fly boys and fly girls contracts are signed!! The reunion info you have been waiting for is here. Our 30th reunion will be on Friday, July 17, 2015 and will begin with a trip down memory lane. The school has offered to open its doors to the class of 85 once again and we'll be able to walk (not run) through those familiar hallways and class rooms. Mr. Deno Charalambous, the current principal and Ms. Jeanine Aiello, a fellow alumni and shop teacher will be touring us through the school and detailing the many changes that have happened since we were there. You are all welcomed and encouraged to bring your families to this tour and show them a bit of your past. Time yet to be confirmed but will probably start around 10am. This will be an awesome way to start this great day.
Reception
Then it's an evening of reconnections, partying, and making of new memories in the Crystal Ballroom at Terrace On The Park in Flushing Meadow Park in Queens from 7pm-12am. This venue is gorgeous with a wrap around scenic view of the Manhattan skyline as well as the Science Hall, Citi Field (old Shea Stadium), and even our beloved 7 train. It is easily accessible by both car and train and it has lots of free parking in its ample parking lot. The reception will consist of a cocktail hour from 7-8pm with a Tuscany table of cheeses, fruits, seafood, and salads and a butler service passing around hors d'oeuvres on silver platters. The list is impressive so don't miss it for you usual late comers. Dinner will be a buffet with selections of beef, poultry, seafood, vegetables, and pastas as well as a salad bar. We will have an open bar and a DJ. Anyone who has been to Terrace on Park will agree that it is a great location. Dress to impress because it is a classy venue.
Cost
The cost of the reunion will be $100.00 per person / $185.00 per couple. A deposit of $50.00 is due between now and October 15th, 2014. If you are bringing a guest (plus 1) an additional deposit of $35.00 for the second person will be due by November 15th, 2014. The balance needs to be in no later than June 1st, 2015. That comes out to just $5.56 per person per month after deposit. That's very reasonable and the venue really gave us a great discount. Because we are under contract and liable to the venue and other merchants all payments are non-refundable.
Your initial deposit of $50.00 will be due between now and October 15th, 2014. If you will be bringing a guest, the guest deposit of $35.00 will be due by November 15th, 2014. The remaining balance to bring your total payment to $100.00 per person or $185.00 per couple, whichever applies, must be in no later than June 1st, 2015. Full and partial payments welcomed before the June 1st deadline. Payments can be made via Chase Quick Pay payable to ahsnyclassof85@gmail.com or money order, sorry no personal checks can be accepted. Chase Quick Pay is free and easy to use and you do not need to bank with Chase to use it. Reciepts will be provided for any payments made. If sending a money order contact us for mailing address. Since we are under contract and liable with the venue and other merchants all payments are non-refundable.

Samuel Singh has coordinated and gotten approval from Aviation HS and the Board of Ed to have our 20th Aviation High School Reunion @ the school. Thank you, Mr. Ralph Santiago and the school faculty. The function will be held in the cafeteria. We've been told that we will be able to tour the school during the reunion. We will be asking everyone to make a donation to the school for the purchase of new equipment but do not know the details yet. School memeroblia will be available to purchase (cover-alls, gym shorts, etc). Some teachers will be attending this reunion. Luv Vale has sent out an evite on Classmates.com.
