| About Me | After graduating from AHS, I headed to Yuma, Az.to attend Arizona Western JC on a football Scholarship & work on my degree in Education. I then transferred Sul Ross St. to continue my education and play football. After a knee injury, I made one more move to SWTSU in San Marcos, Tx. Upon graduating from Southwest Texas State Univ. (now Texas State Univ.), I became a History & Health Ed. Teacher and a Asst. Football Coach & Asst. & Head Baseball Coach. I taught for 33 yrs. in Public Schools in Lockhart & Bastrop Tx. and 1yr. at a private institution. I retired from teaching in 2014, but still help with State Testing and AP Testing.
