Favorite School Memory	I hated high school, but if I had one good memory, it was a band trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
About Me	I've done one thing I knew I would do and one thing I swore I'd never do. I knew that I would become a church music minister, and so I have. I've been in that field for twenty years now. However, I swore I'd never become a school music teacher, and guess what? I became an elementary, junior high and high school music and choir teacher, and I've been one for twelve years. I graduated with my Bachelor of Musical Arts Degree in Church Music, in 1992, from the University of Southern Mississippi. At that point, my mother died and my father had a stroke, and I returned to Auburn for a short while. Then, I went to grad school at the University of North Texas and graduated with my Master's Degree in Organ and Choral Conducting in 1996. From then on, I worked in the Dallas and Ft. Worth areas in various music ministry positions at various churches. In 1998, I became an elementary and junior high music teacher. I also became a professional Celtic harpist and singer in the metroplex. In 2004, I finally found my church home: I converted to the Eastern Orthodox Church, and in so doing I gave my life to Jesus Christ in a new way. Then I got married to an ordained Orthodox minor clergyman, a Subdeacon. I married him and became the music minister at his parish, which I joined after being betrothed to him.
