About	Died at home in Opelika, Alabama. Carol Thompson Price of Opelika, Alabama, was born to the late Sidney Lee and Martha Virginia Thompson on August 26, 1939. God called her home November 17, 2021. She was 82 years old. Carol had a long career in education. She taught high school English at Stone Mountain, Georgia, Elementary and Kindergarten at Auburn, Alabama; Cherry Creek, Colorado; and Westminster, California. She was a talented artist and loved to travel. Carol loved attending services at Sardis United Methodist Church and Saint Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband David K. Price. Carol is survived by her 4 children, Carolyn (William) Price; Rebecca (Robert) Barrett, Dexter (Melissa) Morris and Edwin O. (Tonya) Price II, special friends Odell Williams (Johnny) and Ella Roberts, her goddaughter Olivia Ambriz and her parents Tiffany and Fred Ambriz, 6 grandchildren, William David Lee Price, Virginia Barrett Clements, David K. Price, Marilyn Ann Price, Mia Marie Morris, Max Houston Morris and numerous cousins, family, and friends. Memorial Service to follow at a later date.
