Rick was a class mate, then after 73' my brother-in-law for 23 years. He joined the Army about 3 months after I did and trained to be an MP. It so happened that his Military Police school was at the same base, {Fort Gordon GA.} that I was station at doing my Radio Operator training. Although he was always behind me a few months, we did get to spend some time together at Fort Gordon before I was sent to Korea. After his training, he was assigned to Fort Rucker AL. for almost a year, but then was sent to Korea. He ended up 4 hours away in the middle the country and I was way up north by the DMZ, We did travel to see each other a few times before I left. After my Army days ended and his sister and I became poor farmers, he bought our 1975 Dodge Van that was all fixed up inside. I remember playing Frisbee with Rick when we were felling a little high, it was always so funny how he ran after the Frisbee and jumped up to get it. It made me laugh every time.
