Allyn Lee Bublitz
Class of 1974
Army, 20+ Years
Began his military career in the US Army in 1974 and served in every leadership position offered to a military policeman culminating as the Provost Sergeant Major on Fort Bragg. Retired after a 30 year career as an MP, including major deployments to Egypt, Jordan, Grenada, Honduras, Panama, Cuba, Haiti and Kosovo. Served as first civilian assistant chief of police on Fort Bragg.
Earned the Army Mater Parachute badge, four foreign jump wings and the Navy and Marine Corp Parachute Badge.
Laid to rest April 15, 2006 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Dan Benedett
Class of 1974
Marine Corps, 1 Years
Killed in Action May 15, 1975 Koh Tang, Cambodia while rescuing the crew from the Merchant Vessel Mayaguez. Dan was killed while assulting the beach at Koh Tang after his helecopter was shot down and burned in the surf. Dan is a true Marine Corps hero.

Also one of the few Legendary Marine Corps Drill Instructors during 2006-10, OORAH!

Went into the Navy in 71 out of high school. Served in the Phillipines 72-73 and 74-75 in Alameda, CA. as a Radioman In 76 entered the Army National Guard. In 91-97 worked with King County Police as part of the National Guard counterdrug program. From 01 to 11 served fulltime as a Property Book Officer at Camp Murry and Ft Lewis, WA. In 04-05 did 13 months in Balad, Iraq. I retired Nov of 11 serving 39 total years with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4.

After uniform service was completed, continued in US government at Fort Huachuca, AZ. 42 years and still serving.
