| About Me | Special Effects Makeup Artist I am an artist, a writer, an actor, a musician, a teacher but mostly I am a professional Special Effects Makeup Artist. I work in film and television primarily, but can work in any and all mediums. As an effects artist, some of my greatest skills that are in demand are my sculpting and advanced moldmaking skills (undercuts are not an obstacle) and my ability to make ALL seam lines disappear, no matter how severe, no matter what the casting material... NO ONE, can make edges go away like me... even the really bad ones. I'm also skilled at creating props, puppets and full body creature suits. I'm also very proficient at sewing ; I helped cut and sew parachutes that were used and deployed in Iron Man and Mission Impossible 3 while (working with Apex Base in Perri, CA) a few years back... People's lives have depended on my stitches. I love what I do, I'm very passionate about my work and have a reputation of getting results. . . In the lab and on the set its strictly business! I love what I do, and my fellow teachers and students are like my family... My crew members ; like brothers and sisters … I believe as makeup artists its important that we all support friendly competition in good natured spirit. I stand by the basic principle that all makeup artists are allies moreso than competitors, as we all can help each other out in the way of job referrals, prop rentals and the sharing of technolgy and learning ... all for the betterment of our industry. I enjoy teaching and learning and sharing what I've learned with my felow artists and anyone else that wants to learn the art of special makeup effects.
