I have a long term commitment to sexual civil liberties- periodically writing in the area since the 1970s. Have edited 3 books in the area of sexual politics and just retired as the head editor of the academic quarterly, SEXUALITY AND CULTURE. Was well known in the 70s in supporting gay rights and opposing Anita Bryant and her cohorts. In the 90s and presently I am known for opposing campus sexual regulations banning student professor intimacies; I lived in Tubac, AZ from 200502013. Tubac is known as an artist community; it is off the beaten track, quite beautiful, and quiet. Beautiful night skies. Awesome trees which I enjoyed photographing. Unfortunately there are those who are attempting to create Tubac and its environs as a civil liberties free zone due to the intrusion of the US Border Patrol, and the establishment of a checkpoint just to the north of Tubac.
