About Me	I received my BS in Chemical Engineering from NCSU in May of 2005 but chose not to work in the field to pursue a career in medicine. I worked for 3 years in Wake County as a Paramedic while I completed some prerequisites for medical school and took the MCAT. I got accepted and started medical school in 2008 at the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. That same year I married my husband, Doug Schiller, who also attended medical school with me at LMU-DCOM. We both graduated in May of 2012 with the degree of Doctor of Osteopathy. We both completed our Emergency Medicine Residency at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, PA. In addition to graduating medical school in 2012, we also welcomed our son, Michael Alexander, in January. In 2014, we welcomed our daughter, Kaelynn Elizabeth. After completing residency in June of 2016, we returned to NC. I am working as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine at ECU/Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
