About Me I have NEVER been in Jail so that good. But I have struggled with many obstacles and I am proud to say I have been sober for (going on) 6 Years at the end of February. I was not pressured into anything I did in my past, I am to blame for it all, I am lucky because i have seen many friends die, overdose, or just give up and ended up in jail. I had to want to stop and if you EVER met my daughter she is enough of a reason, but I didnt even start till after she was born. I settled down too soon) and got married early (our daughter was 4 and she was our flower girl. I regret NONE of that. I am SO happy I had my Daughter at the age of 20 because I had alot of fun with her, she is and always will be my #1. She has a great Dad, couldnt ask for a better family. I am just glad that the man I married meant his Marriage Vows for better and for worse because he got the worse than the better. We have some work to do but I know he would run in front of a truck to save me and I would do the same for him. All through High School I dated a guy named Jim and he deserved better than me, so as much as I hurt, by hurting him it was for the best. I was very abusive and I continued to be until about 4 years agg. Physically and Metally. I hope Jim found happiness in his life and I never told him I was sorry. If I was not selfish I would have just stayed friends after break up #1 of about 3,000. He gave me my first car and still of all my used cars that one was my favorite.. My father is doing great still working, as the 1st sergent of the Clinton Police Station and he is the senior officer in the Town. We lost his father (my Grandfather also to cancer just like my fathers wife). My mother was having pains in her arm and 7 years later they decided to help her pain by giving her Dilaudid and OxyContin at the same time and sending her home, and 2 days later she called the Dr not even knowing what day it was and he turned the Dilauded UP 3 notches (Not One) whithin 2 weeks she died suddenly after going through open heart Surgury and making a fast and meraculious come back and we lwft the Hospital that night happy she was awake and alert and then at 2:18 am she had hypertention so bad her pulse stopped and her blood pressure was 0 over 0 and she was gone. We buried her with her Mother and her Father. This is still all fresh in my mind because I have a 6 inch stack of medical records to read to see where the malpractice started and why if she had arm pain for 7 years nobody ever xrayed her heart. When she went to the ER on the night she was confused they saw YEARS of Heart Damage and three of four artety;s were clogged with palque and she was given splints in two and the right side was so bad and she was unconsious, she would heve died had they gone over there. Prior to getting the Splints she had a 20% chance of living and after the surgeon said now she has a 70% chance of living, and then he went on vqacation for a week and she died a couple days later. If anyone knows anythign about where I start with this huge medical record or has any advise please email me at lauriestevenson@verizon.net I am so desperate. This doctor is getting away with calling people pill chasers when my mother had not even had a drink in 5 years. Before all this she weighed 110 pounds and one month I went over to see her and she opened the door and doctors gave her SO MANY phyc pills she was blotted like a blimp and this caused diabeties and other problems. She really would have been better off going nowhere. Doctors all Judge people and if they can not see the pain then they assume the patient is a drug addict. Very very sick, he is the one that caused her early death at age 55, Not the heart sugeon he rushed her right in when he saw that. Sorry I am so depressing. People can only hear it so much and then I have to keep it ALL inside. I really hope everyone moved on to be happy, healthy, and successful, even if they did not do what they went to Assabet for. I should have taken electronics who knew.... Miss my past and I am afraid I won't know anyone. I would like the reunion to be dressy ca...(read more)
