About Event

Earlier this year it was decided, due to COVID, to push The AHS Class of 1975 reunion back from June to late Summer. A date before the NFL regular season was desired to avoid home Packers game weekend crowds. Preseason games were not an issue because in the years BC, (Before COVID), preseason games were on Thursday evenings. Things have changed, there's a preseason home game on August 21st, kickoff at 3:15. Besides game crowds and traffic, The Bar offers a reduced menu and charges $25.00 for parking on game days. So use of The Bar is out.
A search for other party venues found nothing similar to the arrangement we had at The Bar. But we are not rescheduling, nor are we cancelling completely.
We can meet at an establishment far enough away from Lambeau Field to avoid game crowds, Plank Road Pub & Grill in DePere. It's a nice joint, my wife and I have dined there many times, we used to play trivia there weekly. They have an outside bar under cover and a large adjacent patio seating area. What we won't have is access to a sound system for a playlist of music from those high school days. We won't have use of monitors for a slideshow of class photos, but it can still play on my laptop.
All of the other things are still on. People have volunteered door prizes. We have name tags. We can still have a little trivia game. One more thing that is out is the attendance fee as there is no party room to rent.
