About Me	Quick History (leaving out the sordid stuff): Went OSU for pharmacy so I would have time to write, failed at both, only to became master barista and then cafe manager for a bit. Followed a crazy lady down to LA and became a master of ordering/selling obscure CDs in a Frank Zappa inspired restaurant/gallery (Lumpy Gravy) before MP3s and internet music streaming took over the world. While there I met many famous people (you can't avoid them in that city) but memorably got stuck in an elevator with Henry Winkler but never stuck my thumbs up and said Ayyy! (probably a missed opportunity). Came up to the land of hipsters, Portland OR, and did mindless tech jobs (still doing it really). Struggled, went to parties, wandered the city and eventually had a child named Quay (named after the directors The Brothers Quay). Lucky for me I married a woman other than the mother. Someone who I can talk to easily, makes me laugh and is certainly smarter than me (and with a bigger library too).
