About Me	After getting out of the Army (ASA in Augsburg Germany mainly) I had 3 children, 2 born in Germany, on in Texas. When I separated from my then husband, I worked with my brother in law as a carpenter's apprentice. No fun when you are afraid of height and the first job he puts you on is carrying sheets of plywood across roof ridge when it is still a skeleton. Then I moved to Grants Pass and worked at the Weasku Inn as a cook. After that I worked at a dog training kennel. I did training for the Josephine Sheriff K9 unit. Basically I've had a lot of jobs. When I worked for GEICO we would often play 2 truths and a lie, and I used my jobs as truths. We played it by lumping answers together such as: who trained a dressage horse, who took Russian in the Army etc. After awhile, no matter how weird the job, they chose me as the one who... I got into animal rescue, working at the local Humane Society and I now run a feral colony. A few years ago we received a card from the Humane Society that waid that we had spayed or neutered over a thousand feral cats at their clinic. Here in Tucson there can be 3 or 4 litter seasons a year so it takes a long time to age out a colony, but we are now down to 9 elderly feral cats, and we have had no kittens for 3 years. I became a vegan 11 years ago, and my doctors tell me it probably saved my life when I had a heart attack last year. Are there any other vegans out there? I went to college pretty late, and got better grades than I did in high school. I was the Financial officer for Phi Theta Kappa honor society and graduated summa cum laude, and was the top winner gaining a full scholarship for a 4 year college in Arizona.
