Favorite School Memory	My favorite high school memory would be the trip to the National Convention of FBLA, in New Orleans, as President of Ashland's chapter of FBLA. Joyce Taylor traveled with me. A group of around 60 or so students traveled on the train from the West Coast. We missed our connection in Kentucky? We had to continue the trip by renting a bus. The bus wasn't big enough so the extra kids had to sit or lay down the middle isle with some boys laying in the luggage racks above our heads. It was a very long trip but well worth it. I think around 1,000 kids from all over America showed up. I remember a girl on the train was running for a national office and asked me to give her opening speech. Boy was I nervous getting up in front of all those kids. New Orleans was incredible. Since growing up in Ashland with only the Mark Anthony to compare a tall building with, I was dumbstruck at the height of the hotels. I remember calling mom and dad and telling them that.
