Mr. Hussey inspired me to become a lifelong learner. His history classes in Jr. High piqued my curiosity about the importance of not simply looking forward but looking to the past to understand the present in context. There are only a handful of educators whose influence continues to be relevant and memorable to me. Otis Harold Hussey is one of those I will continually remember fondly. Thank you from the innermost part of my being, Otis. You were a good man with a big heart, and left your mark where it counts most - on the hearts of those who sat still enough in Junior High School to listen, and absorb what you taught.
