Dick and I were next door neighbors on Morgan Ave and we use to hang out together and I would assist him with his many projects. This included building a soap box derby racer that never got to Akron but we terrorized the folks on our street. This included “sailing “ down the street with a sailboat sail and being stopped by the police for obstructing visibility!
Always a great sense of humor and a good friend. We also competed on the swim team and always looked for fun. I wish I had stayed closer.

Dick and I were childhood friends living on Morgan Avenue, often playing outside with the “street gang” till dark. As we grew older we shared a love for Lake Erie and boating. Both Steve and I enjoyed his contagious smile and adventurous spirit and he and Steve became great friends. Dick was in our wedding in 1972. His passing has deeply touched both of us.
