Linda was born in Ashland, OH on September 19, 1943. Linda is survived by daughters Brooke (Stacey) Love and Tauna Leonardi; sister, Janet Lou Kemp; grandchildren, Vincent & Paxton Love, Patrick & Marco & Paul Leonardi; Esbenshade cousins Kris (Dick Monagle), Ranz, John; niece Cathy Gilbert (Hickey); nephews James Gilbert, Kevin & Derek Kemp, and close family friend Shannon Donovan. Preceded in death by parents Ruth (Esbenshade) and Willoughby Painter; sister Carol Lee Gilbert. Linda loved watching her grandsons play baseball, spending time with her cats, and tending to her yard. Linda's career entailed teaching on a Navajo reservation in New Mexico, and teaching special education in Indianapolis, Indiana. Linda's daughter Brooke requests that in lieu of flowers or other, please donate to a local animal rescue as that would be the greatest honor to Linda's lifelong love of animals.
