I started running at Liberty Baptist College. Our Liberty Baptist College Cross Country Team was the first team they had. We start the cross country team in the Fall of 1978. I found out that I loved running. So for the past 30 some years that is what I have been doing. I ran my first Ultra marathon in November 1981, the JFK 50.2 miles in Hagerstown, MD. I completed the run in 8 hours an 42 min. I came in 3rd for the girls. Then I continued on the Liberty Baptist College (Liberty University) Cross Country and Track Varisty team until I graduated. To date I have ran 62 marathons, many 5K's 10K's, 1/2 marathons and triathalons. My goal is to run a marathon in all 50 states and then the contintens. I only have 21 more states to complete, I am running GUlfport, MS in November and a Texas marathon on January 1, 2011. Leaving only 19 more states to complete. I ran the Boston Marathon in 2006 and plan to go back.

I coach at Black River Middle School cross country an track for the last 7 years. I started a Youth Cross Country team for runners during the summer. I try to encourage the love for running the rest of your life. Trying to keep running fun.

I love running this year my best 5k is 22:14 and my best Marathon this year was in Oklahoma City, OK 4 hour 11 min.

Running is a big part of my life. I love going to the races and seeing all my running friends at any age!
